Rev It Up Rev It Up a unique child development center in Southern New Jersey that utilizes Martial Arts as the vehicle for teaching!

At Rev It Up, our goal is to provide the most comprehensive, age-specific Martial Arts training available on the market today, known as SKILLZ™. The SKILLZ™ Programs include an International evolution of Martial Arts, fitness and educational training that targets the age-specific needs in children. We’ve taken the coolest parts of Martial Arts from a variety of styles and combined them into action

-packed curriculums that help children build skills that they can apply into every area of their life. This means children ages 3 and up will have a blast in their Martial Arts classes while learning valuable skills that enable them to be the best they can possibly be.

What an incredible day! 💙⚾ Rev It Up had an absolute blast volunteering and being buddies at the Camden County Miracle League game today! The smiles, teamwork, excitement, and pure joy made this such a special experience for everyone involved. We are so thankful to be part of such an amazing community and can’t wait to do it again! 🫶✨

Another SWEATY Saturday in the books! 🔥💪

Today’s workout was a spicy little 10 to 1 pyramid featuring kettlebells and dumbbells… and let’s just say our upper body is filing complaints tomorrow 😂

Shoulders burning ✔️Arms shaking ✔️Grip strength gone ✔️🤣

We pushed HARD today and finished strong with heavy bag rounds and abbbbbssssss

EARLY SKILLZ (early preschoolers) catching drills were on fire today! 🔥🥋

Big shout out to Desmond for breaking the school record with SEVEN wall catches in a row!!! 👏💥 That takes focus, timing, hand-eye coordination, and determination!

In Early SKILLZ, catching is more than just a game… it helps build coordination, concentration, confidence, and reaction skills in our little champions! 💪🧠

One thing I’ll never stop doing is learning. ❤️

I truly love spending time learning how to better help children, teens, and adults grow — not just in martial arts, but in confidence, emotional strength, leadership, and life.

Today’s SKILLZ trainings were incredible and honestly reminded me why I love what I do so much.

The first session was on Teaching SKILLZ, which is one of my absolute favorite topics because I use these strategies every single day — not just in class, but in everyday life too. Trickery and healthy competition are two of my favorites because they create engagement, motivation, connection, and FUN while still building important life skills and behaviors.

The second session focused on the 8 neuron-pedagogy strategies that build behavior through desire instead of fear. That concept alone is so powerful. Understanding the “why” behind behavior and learning how to strengthen the nervous system over time changes the way we teach, communicate, and help students succeed long-term. 🧠

This is why SKILLZ schools are different. We’re not just teaching martial arts… we’re learning how to better understand the human behind the student.

As an instructor, coach, and mentor, I believe it’s my responsibility to continue growing so I can better serve every person who walks through our doors. The more I learn, the better I can help others rise up. 🥋

I’ve known Melody Johnson Skillz Worldwide for years now (see pic attached lol), and she is always raising the bar. I’m so thankful to be a part of the SKILLZ Worldwide family and to continue learning from leaders who truly care about changing lives through child development and neuroscience. 🙌❤️
