BHS Regional Golf update

On Monday, April 27th the boys division played at Links on the Bayou in Alexandria, La.
We had one player that qualified as an individual during our district tournament to move forward. Gage Davis placed 4th in individual play and 7th over all with a score of 73 (+2) in district play.

Gage played impressively at Regionals competing with alot of strong competition. While not finishing in the top 4 individual spots, he represented Benton High School in a big way! Gage was also only one of two boys that qualified to move forward out of Bossier Parish. Big season for Gage Davis. Congratulations!

Grace placed FIRST in Regionals. She was the individual medalist champion. Super proud of her and her hard work, it was a competitive round. This is her first year to place first at regionals. She’s been runner up freshman and sophomore year.

On Tuesday, April 28th the girls division played at Mallard Golf club in Lake Charles. Our girl’s team, Grace Goodwin (74), Charleigh Gillum(94), and Amelia McDonald placed 3rd in teams and are now moving forward to State next week!! Huge congratulations to these ladies and Good Luck next week!!!

UPDATE!!! ⛳️💜💛💜⛳️

BHS Boys Golf had a strong season with a lot of growth and talent. Unfortunately, they fell short by only a few strokes at the District tournament on Tuesday. This young team will continue to put in the work during the off season and will be fun to watch in the seasons ahead!! Congrats Tigers!!

Gage Davis qualified as an individual to move on to the Regional tournament which will be hosted in Alexandria. Gage placed 4th in individual play and 7th over all. Good luck to Gage in the days ahead!! 💜💛⛳️
