Cinco de Mayo Tournament Recap
We came out strong in our first game against Valor. The bats were on fire with multiple home runs and aggressive base running. Defensively, the girls were locked in—highlighted by pop fly catches, double plays, and shutting down runners. Nothing was getting past them. We finished with a big 23–17 win.
Game two against Saline County Crush was a battle from start to finish. Both teams came in hot, going pitch for pitch with strong offense and solid defense. It was a true nail-biter with big hits and very few mistakes. We fell just short, losing 24–23, but the effort and grit shown by both teams was something to be proud of.
In game three, we faced Valor again. After a long day, we started a little slow, but the energy picked up midway through. Despite the push, we couldn’t quite close the gap. Valor held the lead, and we wrapped up the day with a 3rd place finish. These girls never stopped fighting and were absolutely deserving of their bling! 💍
A huge shoutout to the girls who stepped in and spent the day with the Phantom Fam - Kali Rosbia, Korbin Taylor, Blair Devers, Mia Lane, and Carlee Scott. We’re so thankful for you! You played hard, brought great energy, and helped make it such a fun and memorable day. 🩷
