We spent the last 4 days at Pine Forest Cheer Camp and we could not be more proud of these kids! We went in with a group who had never been to cheer camp before and left with so much new knowledge and new skills. The squad learned brand new routines, band chants, cheers, stunts and pyramids, while also bonding as a squad and making new friends with other teams! These kids worked so hard, even when the days were long, hot, and they had been doing the same dance on repeat. Squad members Addy and Harry were UCA Pin It Forward recipients for making such an impression on the UCA Staff and other campers while they were there. The Pin It Forward awards are awarded to those who show exceptional character, kindness, leadership and spirit and we are so proud of them for breaking out of their shells! Overall, the squad brought home 1st place for our Band Chant routine and 3rd place for Game time, along with numerous other blue ribbons! As coaches, we are so PROUD of how amazing everyone did at camp and can't wait for our upcoming season!
To the businesses, family, and friends who donated either their time, supplies, or made a monetary donation to our group, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. This would not have been doable without your support for our kids! And to our parents, thank you for raising such amazing kids and trusting us with them in the woods for 4 days!
