Comment INTENT to get started.

Most hitters think “intent” means swinging harder.

But intent isn’t effort — it’s clarity.

The greats — Bonds, Pujols, Trout — all have it.

They’re not guessing. They’re not “hoping to get a pitch.”

They step in with one clear plan, one clear feel, and they commit to it.

That’s what makes their swings look effortless —because it's trained.

That’s what separates the ones who react from the ones who own the box.

If your approach is cluttered with thoughts, cues, or “what-ifs,” you’ll always be reacting — never in control.

Mastering intent isn’t about being perfect.
It’s about having a plan so good, the game slows down for you.

👉 Comment INTENT if you’re ready to simplify, trust, and master the art of the approach — the same way we do inside my program that bridges mindset & mechanics.

Comment APPROACH and I’ll show you how to
start.

Pressure isn’t the problem.

Your expectations are.

You’re trying to get a hit
in a game built on failure.

Shift to standards.

That’s where freedom starts.

Comment APPROACH and I’ll show you how to
start playing to standards.

The one answer to all your hitting problems?

It depends.

I know that’s not what you wanted to hear.
You wanted a drill.
A cue.
A mechanic.
A shortcut.

But hitting doesn’t work that way.

Great hitters aren’t built by copying answers —
they’re built by solving problems.

Timing.
Effort.
Perception.
Pressure.
Ball flight.
Consistency.

Change one variable and the swing adapts.

That’s why no single drill, model, or piece of information can fix everyone.
And that’s why the best hitters didn’t find answers — they built a process through reps, feedback, and obsession with controlling the result.

If you’re searching for the answer, you’ll keep scrolling.
If you’re willing to do the work of solving the problem, you’ll start improving.

This is the mental side of hitting — and it matters more than most people think.

Comment CONFIDENT and I’ll send you more info about the Confident Hitter Blueprint.

Real confidence doesn’t come from noise.
It comes from clarity.

When a hitter looks flat or tentative,
it’s rarely an effort issue.

It’s usually one of these:
• unclear focus
• no repeatable plan
• too many thoughts
• no trusted reset

The brain doesn’t perform when it feels uncertain.
It protects.

That’s why confidence is a skill, not a personality trait.

In my work with hitters, we don’t start with hype.
We start with:
✔ mindset
✔ focus control
✔ simple, repeatable intent
✔ a reset that brings them back to center

When those pieces are in place, effort shows up on its own.

If you want to help a hitter compete freely —
without forcing aggression or emotion —

Comment CONFIDENT and I’ll send you more info about the Confident Hitter Blueprint.

Feel vs real” is a dumb argument...

Not because video isn’t useful.
Not because data doesn’t matter.

But because this debate is framed wrong from the start.

Ironically, feel is the only thing real about it.

Feel isn’t an opinion.
It’s real-time sensory data from the hitter's system that actually controls the swing.

Video isn’t truth.
It’s a delayed record of what already happened — filtered through whoever’s watching it.

When we trust replay more than the athlete’s experience, we stop coaching control and start coaching appearances.

That’s why swings fall apart in games.
That’s why hitters overthink.
That’s why adjustments don’t stick.

There is no feel vs real.
There is cause vs effect.

And most people are staring at the effect.

If this made you rethink how hitting actually works, follow

If you want a swing that holds up in games, you don’t train how it looks.
You train how it’s controlled.

Because pressure doesn’t break mechanics.
It exposes the lack of control behind them.

Timing changes.
Effort spikes.
Decisions speed up.

If your swing only works when everything is calm and predictable, it’s not a game swing — it’s a practice illusion.

This is why copying movements fails.
This is why “pretty” swings fall apart.
This is why feel gets dismissed by people who never had to perform.

Control comes first.
Mechanics are the outcome.

If you want to improve your swing in games, comment SWING and I’ll show you how I help hitters build control that actually transfers.

Everyone’s so fixated on “rearward barrel turn”… but that part happens naturally when other things in order first...

Like with a good approach, controlled tempo, controlled effort level, and contact point— the turn is a byproduct.

None of that has anything to do with the hands “snapping” the barrel rearward.

That’s just a theory (and feel) that CAN work for some — but it’s not what elite hitters actually DO.

That’s why the greats — Bonds, Trout, Pujols — talk about the top-hand chop, down, on top, or hammer feel.

They’re not thinking about the turn — they’re focused on the delivery.

The shoulders and torso turn the barrel when the previously mentioned aspects are in order.

The hands just finish the job out front.

The hands don’t start the swing — they finish it.
