Our State Committee is thrilled to welcome back our thousands of basketball families for an exciting season-ending getaway to Bend, Redmond and Sisters. In our 15th year, we plan to host hundreds of teams at one of the top travel destinations in the country!

After a long season of seeing the same teams, at the same tournaments, in the same regions, our coaches and players love the experience in Central Oregon as we offer fresh, high-level competition and geographic diversity.

Glencoe Youth Basketball is proud to host the Northwest Youth Basketball Coaching Summit- a premier coaching event for youth, middle school, high school, and club basketball coaches across the Pacific Northwest.

Join us Thursday, October 8 through Saturday, October 10, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day, at Glencoe High School in Hillsboro, Oregon, for this immersive 18-hour, three-day coaching summit.

The summit features instruction from Transforming Basketball clinicians. Transforming Basketball is the coaching education organization founded and led by Portland Fire Head Coach Alex Sarama. Known internationally for innovative player development and modern coaching methods, Transforming Basketball has helped coaches around the world create better learning environments and develop smarter, more skilled basketball players.
Whether you coach recreational basketball or compete at the highest levels of youth basketball, you'll leave with practical teaching strategies, a deeper understanding of modern player development, and a network of coaches committed to raising the standard of basketball throughout the Northwest.

A glimpse at STATE 2026... 🗺️🏀👀

After a long season of seeing the same teams, our coaches and players love the fresh competition featured at the Oregon Middle School Basketball Championship. No other event in the state offers such a wide geographic range of school-based teams. The 2026 State Tournament featured players from 374 zip codes and 220 hometowns across the state.

We can't wait to welcome back more athletes, teams and families to STATE in 2027!

The 14th Annual Oregon Boys Middle School Basketball Championship was a massive success once again! Thank you to all of this year’s competing teams and congratulations to the 10 teams who brought home division titles, as well as to all of the teams who were able to wrap up their seasons by playing on a big stage and vie for a state title. 🏀

A new element that was added to this year’s event was the naming of All-Tournament Teams in each division. Coaches and/or team managers were asked to submit the names of the players who had outstanding weekends and helped their teams finish among the top four teams in each division. The breakdown of honorees went like this:

Division Champions – Tournament MVP + one other All-Tournament selection
2nd Place – Two All-Tournament selections
3rd Place – One All-Tournament selection & Hustle Award
4th Place – One All-Tournament selection & Inspiration Award

Though not every team ultimately was able to submit nominees by our deadline or some elected to not submit nominees, the following is a list of all the individuals we received and who we are proud to recognize as being the first group of Oregon All-Tournament Team selections!🥇🏆🥈🏀🥉
