Walking into the gym or starting a fitness routine can be intimidating, but it's kinda like starting a new job.
You show up on the 1st day and have no idea what needs to be done...or how to do it...or when. You meet your trainer and you follow their guidance, but may not understand the "WHY" just yet. Day 1 is done. You're exhausted and maybe a little confused, but you go home and prepare for the next day of work.
You show up 4-6 days a week. Every week.
You LISTEN.
You LEARN.
You ASK QUESTIONS.
You NEVER TAKE SHORTCUTS.
You ADAPT.
You GROW.
You GAIN CONFIDENCE.
You MAKE ACCOMPLISHMENTS.
You STAY HUMBLE.
You EXPERIENCE SETBACKS.
You REMAIN PATIENT.
You TAKE A DAY OFF when you need it.
And eventually, you lead by example when the next "newbie" walks in the door.
Do what it takes to get the job done. Because if you keep showing up, you'll EARN not only what you need to be self sufficient, but you'll be able to better provide for the one's you love.
