I would like to thank every single student who dedicated their time and effort to cast a vote. Your participation contributed to a more involved and aware student body. For those who believed in me and voted for me, I am grateful to each and every one of you and I deeply appreciate your support. For those who didn't, I assure you all that I will work tirelessly to gain your trust and support in the coming months. I will put forth my best efforts to fulfill my duties as president, and will represent the values of Bemidji State University to the best of my abilities. Election week is coming to an end. Regardless of the outcome, we ran a great and memorable campaign to guide the student population towards real change. Thanks to Burkett for his dedication and efforts, for all those hours of late night campaign meetings; I couldn't have asked for a better campaign manager. Thanks to every single member of our campaign team for all those hours of hard work and support. Without you all, we wouldn't have come as far as we did. Thank you all.

We believe in moving towards an era where we will MAKE EFFORTS to meet the demands of the general student population. Therefore, we want to open up a DISCUSSION about a wet campus. It is sad that one of the candidates, even before being elected as president, is trying to shut down our voices with BUREAUCRACY. We thought the student body president is the voice that tells us YES WE CAN or WE WILL MAKE EFFORTS but NOT shut down our thoughts with bureaucracy. Is this the kind of president we want?

Today we had a great day asking students about the changes they want on campus. Today, it finally felt like the student body is actually involved and is willing to make themselves heard. We DON'T want to believe that students don't care, because THEY DO. All they need is a BRIDGE to make them heard, and I promise to create that bridge if elected president. Now lets make college better FOR YOU!
