13 Hoosier tires bundle 6-26.5, 7-27.5. They are used but no cuts and good tread left. All hold air! Great bundle for a beginner to racing to use for practice or for a purestock driver since you have to run used tires. You are buying 13 good tires for the price of one brand new tire. $200.

GM Turbo 350 Transmission for a pure stock. Has been raced since freshened. $400.

GM Turbo 350 shell. Some parts have been taken from the transmission. $100.

GM Metric 200 Transmission. Has been rebuilt and freshened by Nelson. Torque converter is also from Nelson. Has been raced a handful of times since freshened no problems. $900 obo

GM Turbo 350 rebuilt and freshened by Ferdig. Has been raced since freshened no problems. $600 obo

GM Turbo 250 built by Bob’s Midwest Transmission. Works good. $600 obo

Ogilvie Fall Classic Results!

This past weekend, Leeper racing made our way down to Ogilvie to finish the 2026 racing season.

Friday was heats only. Kade drew a 183, placing him in the back starting 8th (which was preferred for the passing points). Within the first lap, Kade made it up to 5th. After a caution was thrown and a few more laps were completed, Kade made his way up to 4th. Then on the final lap of the race, the car started to slow down in turn 3, and then came a loud BANG. The car completely died, and white smoke poured from the car. Only 30 ft from the checkered flag.

After being pushed to the pits, we looked around the engine. There was oil everywhere. We found a big hole in the oil pan.

Kade had to make a hard decision. Were we done for the year? Or do we drive 3 hours back, swap the motor, and return for the Saturday feature? If you know Kade, the answer was obvious. “I want to race!” Is what he said when deciding what to do. We packed it up, drove home, and called it a night… then 5 hours later woke up, and began the motor swap. By 12:00 p.m., the car was fixed, loaded back up, and we began on the road again.

After returning back to Ogilvie, Kade would have to start in the back (13th out of 17) for the feature due to his DNF in the heat race. He knew he had his work to do.

Within the first lap, Kade managed to pass several cars, making his way up to 9th. After a few more laps and a caution, Kade fought his way to sixth. He found his groove and didn’t plan on stopping there! Kade then made 4th, fighting for 3rd. Running out laps, Kade finished 4th. Another lap or maybe a caution would’ve led to a different outcome! Regardless, Kade had one hell of a run. He earned the hard charger award for his success in passing a total of 9 cars!

While this weekend wasn’t the way Kade was hoping to end the season, we still had a blast. What would true racing be without more challenges on the last races?

That was super awesome of them to pay for us and Kade wanted to make sure we gave them a special thank you. Also a special shout out to our crew chief (Kade’s dad) Buck for helping change engines and get us back on the road to the Fall Classic.

Kade will be moving up next year so the time has come!

Late racing update!

On Thursday, August 27th, Kade took some time off from work and we went racing at Grand Rapids Speedway! Kade drew the 64, which meant he started 4th in the heat race. The first few laps were pretty standard, with Kade keeping up with the front runners. However, we encountered some steering issues later on. We discovered that the lower control arm bushings were damaged, causing the control arm to slide around. Due to these complications, we ended up falling back two spots and finishing 6th. Although Kade didn’t make it to the redraw, we managed to start 6th in the feature race.

Before the feature, Buck and Kade managed to fix a few minor issues. However, what was truly required were replacement parts, which we unfortunately didn’t have on hand. Throughout the feature, there was a lot of back-and-forth. At one point, Kade managed to move up to 4th place. However, due to the steering problems, he eventually fell back and finished 5th.

On Saturday, August 29th, we returned to Greenbush. Kade drew and 82, putting him 7th in his heat. From the very beginning, Kade gained a couple of positions within the first few laps. However, the race was not without its challenges. Multiple cautions were issued throughout the race, which had both positive and negative impacts on Kade’s progress. One occurred when a car got loose and turned down on Kade, causing a minor pile-up with other cars on the front stretch. After enduring several more cautions, he managed to navigate his way through the race and ultimately crossed the finish line, securing 3rd.

Kade started 4th in the feature. On the first lap, he managed to move up to third, but the yellow flag was dropped shortly after. During the restart, Kade charged up to second, but he was pushed and spun by another driver on the backstretch. Somehow, the caution was called on Kade. He was sent to the back, now in 8th place. Despite his performance, he finished 7th in the remaining laps. It wasn’t the outcome we had hoped for, especially considering his strong showing.

Bemidji Speedway was set to host the championship night on Sunday, but unfortunately, the event was canceled due to the forecasted rain.

Results:

Grand Rapids:
Heat: 4th -> 6th (-2)
Feature: 6th -> 5th (+1)

Greenbush:
Heat: 7th -> 3rd (+4)
Feature: 4th -> 7th (-3)
