Belvidere Prairie Riders Snowmobile Club We are a family friendly Snowmobile Club located in Belvidere, Illinois.

We are a Snowmobile Club from Belvidere, Illinois comprised of 41 families and individuals. Club meetings are held at Coaches corner in Belvidere the 1st Thursday of the month August through April and all are welcome to attend.

It's that sad time of the year. All trail signs have been pulled and trails are officially closed until December, no matter how much snow we get tonight.

You will see our groomer out today panning the trails to try and lock in a base for opening day. Just a reminder trails DO NOT OPEN until December 10th! DNR will ticket you

REMEMBER trails in Illinois dont open till December 10th doesn't matter if we get 2" or 20" of snow, you may see groomers out panning but the trails aren't open till the 10th. The groomers are just working on making a base it doesn't mean the trails are open.
