Hermann von Oppeln Bronikowski (1899 to 1966) was a dressage rider, who won a gold medal in dressage in the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. He rode the East Prussian gelding "Gimpel", who was already on the gold-winning team at the 1928 Olympics.... In 1936, the gelding was already 17 years old.
