Mason McMahon Karting

‼️Starting to look to 2027‼️

Hey everyone! With one race left for the 2026 season (and possibly another race at a new track in October) we are already starting to look towards preparing for the 2027 season!

With that in mind, we plan to run the same kart next season, renting again from BCR Kart Rentals & Sales unless we find a killer deal on a kart to outright buy. We will most likely be changing our paint scheme a bit for next year (at Mason’s request) and with that, a plan to get a full wrap for the kart with professional graphics! This will include sponsorship logos into the graphics itself and look clean and professional!

We are starting to look to add sponsors for next years racing! We couldn’t have made our season a success without the help from them, and we want to include more! Our plan for the upcoming year will involve another sponsorship tier system, and with it some added goodies will come! We plan to have shirts and merch made again from Five Star Racewear LLC and want to have hero cards made (which will be signed by Mason) and each sponsor will receive both of these items as a thank you!

We have big plans for the 2027 season, including buying and enclosed trailer, keeping quality parts on the kart to remain competitive, as well as maintaining the kart and getting tools we need. We can’t do this without help from sponsors, so if you know a business or someone that wants to get their name on the kart (and exposure in the local area) please reach out!

We wanted to get a jump on this so that we can adequately plan for graphics for next year as well as ensure everyone that wants to sponsor the kart gets a chance and gets to think about it early!

We started the day with a track party which was amazing! Then came practice and Mason came out the gate and was ready to roll! He was 4th in his heat to start but unfortunately was caught in a crash and had to pit. He went back out with his head held high, and a new side panel with a few fixes to the motor thanks to Nick. Overall, he went out and raced hard and finished 8th overall. We are proud of you kid! 🏁✨

Night racing was rowdy tonight!

Mason started off practice with some good laps, laying down some good times.

The heat race would see him finishing 5th in heat #1 which ultimately set him up for a 9th place start in the feature.

The feature was riddled with cautions, and some damage and a few crashes. Mason ended up getting hit in the side panel which broke the panel (more than it was) and bent up the nerf bar. A quick trip into the hot lane in the pits would result in us ripping the panel off (for the second time this season) and sending him right back out. With some hard nose battling going on ahead of him, Mason was able to capitalize and work his way up to 6th just behind the top 5 and keeping reality close pace with them!

Tonight was a solid outing with positive results! Mason worked hard to dial in his line and keep the momentum going, avoiding a few crashes in front of him and working extremely hard to get up the line! We are beyond proud of his hard work and determination and his continued drive to better himself every single race.

Last night race of the season coming up tonight at the 603 Karting Series! Only a few more races left this season, come out and support Mason!

Pit gates open at 2pm ($25 a person) and grandstands are FREE!

Features start at 7pm!!

Great evening to do a practice run! Mason got to hit the track this evening to get some practice laps in and help dial things in. Mason was able to run 5 practice sessions at about 13 laps a piece.

Mason got to run his best lap of the year tonight finally breaking into the 10’s with a 10.9 second lap!

The progress this kid has shown in his rookie season has been nothing short of impressive! I can’t put into words just how proud of Mason we are!!! We gotta keep this momentum moving as we near the end of the season!
