A solid outing today for the team!

Mason started out with some solid runs in both open practice and group practice, making gains every session.

Heats Mason was in the second heat for purple novice with a second place finish in the heat placing him P4 for the feature.

After some mishaps in the feature and tons of cautions, Mason would bring the kart home finishing P6! But the real win today was the progress he made. Mason ran some great laps and his consistency is paying off whether it be running a clean line or shaving 10ths off his laps, he was determined to keep pushing and keep running as best as he could! We are beyond proud of Mason and his hard work!!!

Today wasn’t the day we had planned; practice Mason had a great run; heats came with a broken chain and a last place finish for features. Another week of learning, racing and enjoying the sunshine!

And the dirt was a huge hit! Mason won his feature in his first ever dirt race! We cannot thank our sponsors enough! This kid was in absolute heaven and without our sponsorship this wouldn’t happen! A kids dream came true today!🏁✨

Keep a watch on our page! Another first for the team tomorrow as we have been invited to Nutmeg in CT for Mason to race on dirt! We are excited to be joining our friends from the karting series on this adventure!

A personal best day for Mason! Double features were a blast and Mason made some big improvements along the way.

Mason started towards the back in feature 1 after the kart fell off a bit last week before we got washed out from the rain. A 7th place finish in Feature #1 allows us to start brainstorming ideas for more speed.

The first heat went better with Mason securing 3rd place in his heat (heat #2). After analyzing the lap data on the Mychron that we borrowed from Nick, we set out to get better performance. Nick went right to work on changing out more gearing and dialing in the kart for the 2nd feature. Feature #2 would yield another 7th place finish, but this time Mason would set two separate personal bests with a 11 second flat lap and a top speed of 44mph. Mason also started to dial in his line to assist with the speed and momentum.

There is more work to be done, but Mason is making progress each week and getting better as we move along! The grit and determination is growing and Mason is working hard to get better every single time he hits the track! We couldn’t be more proud of him and his advancements he’s making!
