We are the South Bay Stingrays hockey club. We play in the LA Kings HS Hockey League representing the South Bay cities. We started as the Torrance Destroyers in the ADHSHL in '14. In '16, we moved to the Kings league, rebranding to the Stingrays in '17.

Final ever Destroyers Varsity home game. Better late than never! I have two JV games to post still. Reminder, visit lakleague.com for 2017-18 season tryout information. They start this week for the South Bay Stingrays (the new team) and El Segundo Strikers. Some of you may be in Burbank territory.

LAKHSHL tryouts are coming up fast! If you are interested in playing HS hockey this Fall, see tryout details at the Kings league website. The South Bay Stingrays geography is a little different than the old Destroyers are, so check carefully. Stingrays tryouts are Monday (5/15) and Thurs (5/18), both at 7:25pm at Lakewood Ice. http://www.lakleague.com

Destroyers JV end their season with a 7-5 loss to West Ranch in the league semi-final game tonight. Thanks for a great season, Destroyers! (I have a bunch of pictures to catch up on ... Varsity and JV ... I'll post them as soon as I can.)

Destroyers JV take on the West Ranch Wildcats in a playoff match up at 5pm Friday (3/3) in Valencia. The winner advances to take on the Santa Barbara Royals Sunday. Go Destroyers!
