Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2015 BW Race for Character today! We had a great time, and the turnout was great considering the weather was not so great. (..although, running in the rain is good for the soul!) :) If you would like to see your official time, visit http://finallapracing.com/ and click on the "results" tab. This is just a reminder that we will be having a SOUPER BOWL canned food drive at the Race for Character. Bring any non-perishable food item to donate and help stamp out hunger in our community. Thank you, in advance, for your support!

It's almost race day! Woohoo! Packet Pickup is today from 4:30PM-6:30PM in the main lobby at Belleville West High School or on race day from 7:30AM-8:45AM. Not registered, yet? There is still time! Registration will take place at both packet pickups. We hope to see you there!

The Belleville West Race for Character 5K is on Super Bowl Sunday this year! The race will be on February 1 - 9AM - West High School.

Training for WEEK 4 --

Monday - Cross train or free day
Tuesday - 20 min walk/run
Wednesday - Cross train or free day, opposite of Monday
Thursday - 20 min walk/run
Friday - Rest Day
Saturday or Sunday - 2.5 miles

I know it's cold out there - feel free to get creative with indoor exercise - just be sure to keep moving!

ONLY 3 WEEKS TIL RACE DAY!!! WOO HOO! Don't forget to sign up if you haven't already!

WEEK 3 of the 5K training program. I know it's been tough over the holidays, but now that we're back to that normal schedule..getting into a regular work-out routine should be easy! You can do it!

Monday - Timed 1-mile walk/run
Tuesday - 20 min walk/run
Wednesday - Cross train or free day
Thursday - 20 min walk/run
Friday - Cross train or free day (opposite of Wednesday)
Saturday or Sunday - 2.0 mile walk/run
