We couldn’t be more proud of where our music department is this year! This year is about growth. This year is making strides!
Today, as so many of our bands head off to contest, let’s pause for a reminder of why we do this:
👩🎓 Students — You’ve put in the hours, sweated through the heat, and pushed yourselves past exhaustion. Remember: the field is your stage, the music is your voice, and today is about sharing the art you’ve built together. Win or lose, you’re already a success.
👨👩👧 Parents — Your kids don’t need a critic in the stands; they need a cheerleader. Let your encouragement be louder than any score sheet.
🤝 Boosters — You make the impossible possible. Your fundraising, your food tents, your endless logistics… they’re the backbone of these programs. Thank you for keeping the lights on and the buses moving.
🎼 Directors & Staff — The patience, vision, and grit you’ve poured into these kids is changing lives. Today is just one checkpoint along the journey you’re shaping.
✨ Remember: trophies tarnish, but the culture you’re building, the memories you’re creating, and the lessons being learned will last a lifetime.
Good luck to every band stepping onto the field today. Play with heart. March with pride. Show the world what music education makes possible. 💙
