To my husband, William Stokes, thank you for your passion, vision, determination, confidence, drive, and unwavering love for the children and this community.

What many seen today is the result of countless hours of hard work, sacrifice, prayer, and dedication behind the scenes. You dared to believe that something special could be brought back to Belhaven, and because of your commitment, that vision is becoming a reality!

This is bigger than football. This is about our children. This is about creating opportunities, building character, restoring community pride, and giving our youth something positive to believe in and be a part of.

A special thank you to everyone, both old friends and new supporters, who have taken time out of your busy lives to help make this vision come to life.

Thank you to those who understand the mission and see the bigger picture. Your support means more than words can express.

Thank you to Jason Boyd of The Washington Daily News for recognizing and highlighting the importance of the work being done and the positive impact it is having on our community.

🏈💙 BELHAVEN BULLDOGS™ FOOTBALL CAMP — THANK YOU, BELHAVEN! 💙🏈

Today was a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together for its children.

On behalf of the Belhaven Bulldogs™, BCAC Athletics, and everyone who worked behind the scenes, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to every parent, player, coach, volunteer, supporter, and community member who helped make today's camp a tremendous success.

To the parents — thank you for trusting us with your children.

To the coaches and volunteers — thank you for investing your time, knowledge, and energy into the next generation.

To the young athletes who came out ready to learn, compete, and have fun — thank you for bringing the enthusiasm and effort that made today special.

And to the Belhaven community — thank you for continuing to show that when it comes to our youth, we are stronger together.

What took place today was the result of countless hours of planning, organizing, recruiting, fundraising, and collaboration by people who believe our children deserve opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed both on and off the field.

This is only the beginning.

The Belhaven Bulldogs™ are building more than football teams. We are building character, discipline, leadership, accountability, teamwork, and community pride.

The Belhaven Bulldogs Football Camp is more than just a camp……it is an opportunity for our youth to learn, grow, be mentored, and take the first steps toward greatness.

A lot of hard work has been taking place behind the scenes to make this opportunity possible. Countless hours of planning, meetings, phone calls, partnerships, and preparation have gone into creating something positive for the children of our community.

We are committed to building a program that gives our youth every opportunity to succeed both on and off the field.

This is not just for one neighborhood, one school, or one group of children. THIS IS FOR THE ENTIRE BELHAVEN COMMUNITY and the surrounding areas.

Every child deserves an opportunity to learn, compete, build confidence, and be surrounded by positive role models.
We will have plenty of coaches, volunteers, mentors, and supporters on hand to help guide our young athletes and help get them where they need to be.

Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and community members…..we need your support. Bring the children out and let's show them what can happen when a community comes together with one purpose: investing in our youth.
