Two years!!!
It’s hard to put into words what this place means to me. What started as a big leap has turned into something so much more because of all of you.
To the members who stayed through the transition in ownership, thank you for trusting me, for your patience, and for believing in Saddle Peak.
And to every single person who walks through these doors, works hard, and supports each other, you are the reason this place feels like more than just a gym. You’ve built a community that is solid, and something really special.
I’m beyond grateful for all of you. Here’s to year 3!

The deadlift is one of the most efficient strength movements we have.
It trains the hip hinge, activates the posterior chain, and requires coordinated bracing through the trunk.
Because it involves multiple joints and large muscle groups, the deadlift produces high levels of muscular recruitment and force production, two key drivers of strength development.

Train the hinge.
Build the chain.
Move stronger.

Today feels like the perfect day to pause and recognize the women I get to coach at Saddle Peak.
As a coach, I get a front-row seat to what real strength looks like every day. Not just in the weights being lifted, but in the consistency, courage, and support you show one another.
I see you show up tired but determined. I see you push through hard moments. I see you encourage the person next to you and choose growth even when it’s uncomfortable.
You remind me why I love coaching. Your effort, your vulnerability, and your willingness to keep showing up make this community what it is and I’m incredibly grateful to be part of your journey.

That’s a wrap on Bring Your Friend Month

One of the best parts of training is who you get to do it with. Whether it’s showing up to class with a friend, cheering each other on through a tough workout, or encouraging someone you care about to give it a try, community makes fitness better.

We loved seeing familiar faces bring new ones through our doors, and watching friendships grow stronger right alongside strength and confidence.

Fitness is hard. Having someone beside you makes it easier and a lot more fun.
