Another tournament, another hard-fought battle, and once again the Hickory Hornets come up just short, finishing as Finalists.
While the trophy wasn't the one we were chasing, this team has absolutely nothing to hang their heads about. The dedication, countless hours of practice, sacrifices, early mornings, late nights, and unwavering commitment these players have shown all season have been incredible to watch.
What makes this team special isn't measured by wins and losses—it's the heart they play with. It's teammates picking each other up when things get tough. It's the drive to keep pushing when they're exhausted. It's the determination to compete until the final whistle. It's the brotherhood they've built along the way.
Championships are great, but character is built through adversity, and this group has shown more grit, resilience, and teamwork than anyone could ask for. They left everything they had on the field, and that's something to be proud of.
