SUPPRESSOR NEWS: HERE’S WHERE THINGS STAND
We know there’s been a lot of talk lately about suppressors, and we’ve been following the developments closely. We’re excited about what these changes could mean too, but for now, we have to work from the rules and guidance that are actually in writing.
At this point, we have not received written guidance from the ATF/NFA authorizing dealers to transfer suppressors without an approved Form 4. Until that happens, Gunner’s Armory will continue following the current transfer requirements.
So what does that mean if you want to buy a suppressor?
You absolutely still can. We can either hold your suppressor for you while we wait to see how everything shakes out, or we can move forward with the current Form 4 process as usual.
We fully support the Second Amendment and are every bit as interested as our customers in seeing where these changes lead. At the same time, protecting our FFL and making sure every transfer is done legally is extremely important to us.
As soon as official guidance is released and we have a clear path forward, we’ll adjust our process accordingly and let everyone know.
