Today was the state tournament in the Student Angler Tournament Trail Presented by Lund & Rapala. 26 teams competed. Our team fought hard and represented Becker well. We ended up in 5th place with total weight of 50.66lbs. Well done and we will be back next year.

Today we had our final Local tournament and end of year picnic sponsored by Motorsota. Tournament had a little of rain, but it ended with lots of fish being caught. First place team of Ochs, Norton and McDonald came in with 18.8 lbs. They also pulled in the big bass with a hog of 4.81 lbs.

We next had our end of the year picnic where we wished our seniors for Jackson Peterson and Nolan Burau good luck and handed out the 2026 scholarships.

Our teams just finished the tournament of champions. There were 98 teams competing and our anglers did us proud. Congratulations to the team of Rusin and Zahler pulling in the big bass of the tournament with a 4.82 lb. Smallmouth. Next big tournament for us is the state tournament Aug 23rd on Pelican Lake in Orr MN where our top 3 teams will compete Good luck to our teams of Burau/Peterson, Ochs/Norton, and Koenig/Graning.

After an incredible season and all official tie-breakers have been applied, we are excited to announce the 2026 Student Angler Tournament Trail Top 25 Team of the Year standings!

While the Team of the Year standings are now official, National Championship Qualifiers will be announced in the coming weeks, shortly after the State Team Tournament concludes. We appreciate everyone's patience as we finalize those results.
