United Trappers of Kentucky has a new site that makes it super easy to join. It also allows you to see how many members are from your County, district, state wide and out of state.
Only 7 members here in Ohio County!!! And I can probably name them all. However I know there are more guys out there that trap or support trapping. If your a trapper in Kentucky and are not a member, im curious why your not. So I challenge you to join, or comment why you haven't, or won't joine. Its a small price to pay, and it goes to an organization that stands up for the preservation, education and heritage of trapping in Kentucky.

Results from the FHA March and June auctions. Those items that sold at or near 100% and fetched decent money are the items I'll be targeting during the 2026-27 season. Given its a furbearer we have here.

BOYCOTT ETSY!!!

A recent statement from Etsy reveals that the platform will no longer facilitate the sale of fur, starting in August 2026. Etsy has served as a primary marketplace for numerous trappers and fur crafters to buy and sell wild fur. This decision, however, reflects a lack of understanding and is driven by emotional responses and misconceptions, ultimately neglecting the importance of modern trapping in effective wildlife management.
