2023 Fall Happy Top Softball League Rules

Batter starts with a 1-1 count. 1- strike, 1- ball

Ussa/NSA/USA approved bats
Infield fly rule in affect

Must bat and field 3 females
2 females in infield- catcher counts as a spot

Run limit rules 15-after 3, 12-after 4, 10- after 5.

5 home run limit per game/ Per Team.
After 5 HRs the next and any HR after that is Inning ending.

Ball is live off the net but can’t be caught off the net for an out. If ball gets stuck in net, outfield hold hands up and its a ground rule double.

If there is a Play at home and the ball beats you then you have to slide or runner is out, if metal cleats then you have to slide head first or your out.
Cannot throw a girl out from outfield at 1st base.

If walk a guy to a girl batter with 2 outs the male gets to go to 2nd and the girl gets 1st, however she can bat if she wants to.

Courtesy runners are allowed- male to male, female to female only 1 per inning per team (1 female, 1 male,)

2 strikes, foul ball, batters out.

Hour time limit. If time is up in the inning and home team is down they get a chance to tie or win

Balls will be provided
Men: .52/300
Women: Any 11" ball

Teams to pay umpires each game. $20 per team.
