Big O Track Club competed at both the USATF Junior Olympics Region 8 Championship and the Cornhusker State Games this weekend. Alex Frazier qualified for Nationals in both the Shot (5th) and Discus (3rd). Brooklyn Frazier competed against a stacked field but enjoyed her time. Rylan Gill competed at the Cornhusker State Games placing 1st in Shot after switching to rotation after HS season and getting 3rd in Discus. Carson Kleveland competed in a stacked Pole Vault competition and hit a great mark of 12'! Things are looking bright in Beatrice for T&F. FYI both Merrick and Titus Johnson would have made Nationals if they would have been able to make regionals.

We are keeping a close eye on the weather for tomorrow. There are forcasted high temperatures so we are making a few adjustments so that we can get as much done in the morning as possible.

1. Field events (throws and horizontal jumps) will be 4 attempts with no finals

2. The 100m dash will be finals by time.

3. The Pole Vault will begin at 11:00am

4. The Javelin will begin at noon.

Please look for an email tonight after the close of entries that will outline any groups that will be combined.

2025 USATF Nebraska Junior Olympics 6/8/2025 Merrick Johnson 17-18 and Alexander Frazier 11-12 bringing home Silvers and qualifying for USATF Regionals.

6/7/2025:

- Long Jump 10th place 10' 8.75" PR
Alex Frazier (11-12) - Shot Put: 2nd place (qualifier) 28' 9.75" PR
Brooklyn Frazier - Shot Put: 3rd place (qualifier) 39' 4" PR
