Huge hit & hustle by Madeline Martin (2030) in our Sunday semifinal game legging out a triple to lead the inning off. She ended up scoring the games first run right after this smash. Maddy is batting .389 with a slugging percentage of .556 so far on the season. She’s one of our big bats that makes the lineup very strong from top to bottom. Nice work #42! Keep working hard! 🐻‍❄️ 🥎

Aubrey Weitz (2029) started our spring/summer season on 🔥. In our first two tournaments batting in the leadoff position, she’s hitting a blistering .577 with 15 hits, 8 RBI, 5 walks, 20 runs scored, & 13 stolen bases 😳. 🔥 🔥 🔥 There’s nothing more special as a coach when you have a player that absolutely loves the game of softball & has back to back weekends like Emmersyn Seltzer (2029) had on the mound for us. Here’s a clip of her very nice pitch sequence to end our championship game on Sunday showing off her incredible movement & spin on the ball. She’s now 2-0 this spring with 1 save, 27 innings pitched, 1.53 ERA, & 23 strikeouts. Our opponents batting average against Emme with runners in scoring position is a ridiculously low .160! She makes quality pitches when she needs to & puts total trust in her defense. And the results have been incredible!! Keep working hard #12! 🐻‍❄️ 🥎 🏆 🚀

Right now, our priority focus is finishing strong with our current teams and making sure our players continue to get the most out of their season.

At the same time, we recognize the importance of continuing to build for the future and giving more athletes the opportunity to experience the culture, training, development, and growth we’re committed to providing.

Aeva Smeding (2030) with the double in our first game on Saturday. Nice piece of hitting muscling a pretty good inside pitch that backed up on her down the line. She’s third on the team in runs scored so she’s contributing big time to our 8 run per game average on offense. Also, her versatility on defense being able to play different positions helped us bring home the gold this weekend! Great job #4! Keep working hard! 🐻‍❄️ 🥎 🏆

Jillian Weidner (2030) showing off her gap power with this moonshot double to left center in our first game from this weekend. This was one of her two doubles in the tournament. She leads the team in walks & is second on the team in runs scored. Helping the offense average almost 8 runs per game in our first 11 games. Great job #29! Keep working hard! 🐻‍❄️ 🥎 💪

🔥 🔥 🔥 Off the charts weekend for Lexi Mosier (2030)! Her bat was on fire! She hit .750 on the weekend, going 9-12 with 1 double, 7 RBI & 4 runs scored, every hit barreled up & smashed!! Here she knocked in the go ahead run in the championship game to give us a 5-4 lead which we were able to hold for the victory. Equally impressive was her play at second base! She made so many high level plays, reacting quickly & decisively to every batted ball that came her way. Way to put on a show for everyone this weekend #77! It was fun to watch. Keep working hard! 💪 🥎 🏆

🏆 🏆 Back-to-back weekends. Back-to-back championships.

For the second weekend in a row, these girls battled their way to the top and brought home another Championship Trophy in the Backwoods Brawl in Scranton ! 💙🖤

This weekend’s championship run came under sunny skies, soaring temperatures, and some serious heat, but these athletes never let the conditions slow them down. They stayed focused, pushed through the 6 long games , and continued to compete at a high level from the first pitch to the last out.

We’re proud of the way these girls represented the Predators organization—with grit, heart, sportsmanship, and a refusal to quit, even in the heat.

The season is still young, and these Predators are just getting started! 🐾🥎🔥
