That’s a wrap on the 2026 season for Bixler Racing!

As the season comes to an end, we’re going to take a little time to relax, reflect, and appreciate everything that went into another year at the track. Not every season ends with a championship, but every season brings experience, lessons learned, and plenty of memories that make us want to come back even stronger.

First and foremost, congratulations to Dan McCarten and his crew Michelle Curtis on a dominant season! Well deserved!

This year brought one of the biggest Bike classes we’ve seen in recent years, and Josh Bixler was the only Bixler Racing rider to put together a full-season. The year definitely threw some challenges at us. We spent the early part of the season chasing an intermittent issue, and just after the halfway point we were forced to switch bikes. It wasn’t exactly the season we had planned, but we kept fighting, kept learning, and kept showing up.

A HUGE thank you to Morgan Bixler for making this season possible. Racing takes an incredible amount of time, work, sacrifice, and support away from the track, and none of it happens without the people standing behind us. Morgan has been there through the long nights, the weekends at the track, the ups, the downs, and everything in between. We truly couldn’t have put this season together without her love and support.

We also want to give a special thank you to Kyle Collins, Jeff Collins, Stephanie Collins for all the help throughout the year, especially for always being there to help get Josh and the bike back from the top end. That kind of help and camaraderie is what makes the racing community so special, and we truly appreciate you guys!

Now it’s time to turn those lessons into progress. We’ll be tearing the bikes down, making some changes, and working on putting together an even better program for next year. The goal is simple: come back stronger, better prepared, and ready to go racing!

A HUGE thank you to Great Lakes Dragaway, Tim Cullinan, and Robin Norris for giving us an incredible place to race and such a great program to be a part of. We truly appreciate everything you do to keep bracket racing alive and give racers a place to compete, improve, and have fun.

And to everyone who raced with us, helped us, supported us, cheered us on, or simply stopped by the trailer to talk racing — THANK YOU. Racing is about a lot more than what happens on the starting line, and we’re grateful for every person who has been part of our season.

If you’ve got a bike sitting in the garage collecting dust, or you’ve ever thought about trying bracket racing, let this be your sign to get it back to the track! 🚨 IT’S RACE WEEKEND! 🚨

This weekend we’re headed back to the legendary Great Lakes Dragaway for the FINAL race of the season!

If you’ve been thinking about getting your car or bike out and trying bracket racing, this is your chance! If you’ve already been racing all season and want to squeeze in one more race, or you’re looking for some last-minute seat time and a tune-up before the World Finals, GLD is the place to be!

For all of our fans who have been saying, “I need to get out to the track this year” — THIS IS YOUR WEEKEND! Come hang out in the grandstands, watch some great racing, and make sure you stop by the trailer and say hello. We’d love to see you!

We’ll have a few of our bikes out this weekend at Great Lakes Dragaway! Come see us! Saturday time runs start at 10am with competition to follow and Sunday time runs start at 9:30am with competition to follow.

SURPRISE!!! The 1441 Hayabusa big tire bike made its reappearance today after a longggg hiatus.

Josh has been racing his 1170 KZ small tire bike the last few years. Although the KZ has a lot of sentiment to him, he has made great history and memories on his big tire bike. We just felt like it was the right time to put it back together and see what it could produce for him after the KZ has been having an array of issues throughout the season.

Unfortunately Mother Nature kept us from testing the Busa and working out the kinks before race day today, so the first test pass on the big tire bike was literally the first and only time run 😅

For the time run the bike proved she’s got a lot in her but headed hard to the right so Josh let out early and didn’t get a full run with an accurate time slip.

First round we had to dial blind and she headed straight on over to the right again. Josh stayed in it, and you would’ve seen all of us spectators leaning over FOR Josh in hopes he wouldn’t go over the center 😂

Josh did great and stayed in his lane but there’s some adjustments and testing to be done before the next race in 3 weeks! With an axle and wheelie bar adjustment (so the bike and rider can stay straight 🤭🥴), and maybe a tweak to some tuning or two, we’ll be in great shape.

We’ve been a little quiet over here, but for good reason! We’ve been BUSY! From travelling, chasing a kiddo around, had over a month off from our bracket program, and MAYBE putting in late nights in the shop for something that might show up at this weekends race 🤭 we just don’t want to speak too soon, you know how that is 😉

We’ll be at Great Lakes Dragaway this weekend — we hope to see you there!
