A huge thank you to the Bayfield Band for always coming and supporting the cross country team. We love when you play the National Anthem for our event and then playing music during our races. I had several people tell me that it was really cool that you play during the races and it makes for a cool racing atmosphere with music the athletes can probably hear every where on the course.

Thank you to all the Bayfield XC Runners and parents for helping today put on an amazing event. A huge thank you to our athletic trainers Brandi and John for taking care of any injuries we had and Nick and Laurie our officials for making sure athletes followed CHSAA rules.

We had a great day hosting the Bayfield XC Invitational at Pine Valley Church. A huge Thank you to Scott Kujath and the Pine Valley Church for allowing us to host at such an amazing venue and to Southwest Ag Inc. we could not have the course that we do without all the equipment you allow us to use to make the surface perfect for athletes to run on.

The Bayfield XC Invitational is on Saturday August 22, 2026. It includes the following events: MS Girls - Bayfield XC Invitational, MS Boys - Bayfield XC Invitational, HS Girls - Bayfield XC Invitational, HS Boys - Bayfield XC Invitational, and Bayfield XC Invitational Citizens Race.

On Saturday, August 22nd the Bayfield XC Team will be hosting the Bayfield XC Invitational at Pine Valley Church. The Farmer's Market also will be going on at the same time as the races. With the limited parking at Pine Valley Church we ask that people attending the race please park at Bayfield High School, which is a half mile away, and either walk to the church or take the shuttle bus which will be running from 7:00-11:30AM. We would like to save the parking for people that are shopping at the Farmer's Market.

A huge THANK YOU to every single person who showed up, laced up, and walked or ran in our 5K fundraiser yesterday!

Two of our athletes have gone through some rough times this summer, and the Bayfield Track/XC Team is stepping up to support them. Join us for a 5K fundraiser in support of Simon Miglinas and Mykah Meshew!

Registration at 7:30 AM
Race starts at 8:30 AM
Location: Start and finish behind Bayfield High School (by the bus loop)
Entry Fee: $20 per person (Cash or check please)
Payment: Please pay at the event to ensure 100% of the funds go directly to the athletes.
All entry fees will be split evenly between Simon and Mykah. We will also have individual donation jars set up for each athlete if you would like to contribute extra directly to either of them.
Come out, run or walk, and show your support for our athletes!
