Pad hand out this Tuesday at 531 Sower Dr (north Lewis Merch) Unit 303
3&4 Grades 6-7pm
5&6 Grades 7-8pm

August 5th official start of the season
Practice will be 6-8 Wed,Thurs and Friday
Please wear athletic clothing, cleats if you have them

Games are scheduled to start August 29th. Schedule should be out around the 15th

August 10-14th and August 17-21 will be 5 days a week practice

August 21st will be a scrimmage in Bayfield

Optional conditioning this week. Tuesday and Thursday from 6-7 at the BMS baseball fields.

Official start of the season is August 5th All practices will be held at BMS. Times will be posted soon.

Please make sure to get physicals ASAP and we still have room for more players!!

It has come to our attention that Four Corners Urgent Care in Durango is doing a special until end of August for sports physicals for $35.

Just a reminder, there is a non-mandatory conditioning practice this evening from 6-7pm and Thursday 6-7pm. If you’re not sure your child will like football, bring them out this week and see if it’s a good fit for them, they do not need a physical to attend and participate

Just a reminder, non-mandatory conditioning Tuesday and Thursday this week, 6-7pm at the BMS baseball field. Please check to see if your child has a current physical. They will need it when mandatory conditioning starts(date TBD) Don’t forget water bottles! Your athlete needs to stay hydrated.

REMINDER: There is a non-mandatory conditioning practice tomorrow night, 6pm-7pm at BMS baseball field. If your child is considering playing football, bring them out for a trial practice. Please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. See you there! 🏈🐾💜💛

Less than a week left for signup. This coming Thursday we will have conditioning at the middle school baseball field from 6-7pm. If you are on the fence about your child and football, please show up and try it out this next Thursday. The following week will be Tuesday and Thursday 6-7pm. We will be having a pad handout in the near future at which time we will also have donated gear for those interested. Football in Bayfield YAFL is about community and the love of football. It starts here! Please come out. Any questions , please do not hesitate to reach out!

We still have a few short weeks left to register for the 2026 YAFL season....2nd grade through 6th.
We are short on numbers for some teams and we need enough players registered to complete our rosters. Please sign up asap, share with friends and family that the deadline is looming. We will have a booth at the 4th of July celebrations at Joe Stephenson Park on Saturday July 4th. Come see us, sign up and grab a treat!
