Not the outcome we were hoping for this weekend, but we’ll get back to work this week and continue improving. One thing about this team—we can hit. This weekend, we just couldn’t get the bats going when we needed them. I’m very proud of the effort these girls showed. They played great defense, competed hard, and battled through some extremely hot temperatures all weekend. We’ll learn from it, keep working, and come back stronger. Proud of this team and excited for what’s ahead.

Couldn’t be more proud of these girls and the way they competed in our first tournament as Lady Dukes Drinkard. We finished Runner-Up and battled all the way into extra innings in the championship game against some of the top pitching our area has to offer.

We don’t run from competition just to chase rings — we want to play the best and become the best. This weekend showed us a lot about who we are and also showed us areas we still need to improve on. That’s what growth is all about.

These girls fought hard every inning, showed toughness, heart, and never backed down. If this is how we start the summer, I’m excited to see what’s ahead for this team. The future is bright for Lady Dukes Drinkard. 💙🖤🥎

So thankful for another opportunity for these girls to take the field together. Softball is more than wins and losses — it’s about building character, faith, teamwork, and lifelong memories.

Lady Dukes Drinkard would like to thank Brooke, Ryann, Nassar, and Lauren — four outstanding upperclassmen and softball players from BCHS — for taking the time to come run a mini camp for our girls.

We truly appreciate them giving back to the younger players and serving as great role models both on and off the field. The girls had an amazing time, and the excitement and energy throughout the camp made it a memorable experience for everyone involved.

We can’t thank them enough for pouring into the next generation of players. We are looking forward to watching these young ladies compete on the field this Saturday in Bay Minette or Pensacola! Go Lady Dukes 💙🖤
