It’s been a busy but super fun day! The day started at 6:30am. Needed to get our team to the match so they could prep Little Walt, our Robot. So appreciate Mr. Leimeister’s exceptional driving skills this morning in the snowstorm!

We made three trips today between Midland and Bay City to ensure everyone had the opportunity to come. In the middle of it all, I even took a couple pies in the face for Pi Day! 🤣🥧

Now we’re finishing up the evening watching the BEST TEAM EVER compete in Midland. Their energy and good sportsmanship are absolutely contagious.

I’d like to give a HUGE SHOUTOUT to Ms. Kathleen and her High School crew as well as our teams amazing parents. Our Iron Bears are shining bright! This Mama Bear is SUPER proud of her crew!

⚙️🔧 Crystal Oscillators #9685 – In Action! 🔧⚙️

Today our Crystal Oscillators robotics team put their skills to the test at competition! From last-minute adjustments in the pit to teamwork on the field, these students showed what engineering, collaboration, and perseverance really look like.

Robotics isn’t just about building a machine — it’s about problem solving, critical thinking, and learning to push through challenges together. Watching them troubleshoot, measure, rebuild, and strategize in real time is incredible.

We are so proud of the dedication and grit our team brings to every competition. 💙

Team #9685 Crystal Oscillators is the official FIRST Robotics Competition team of Tri-City Trades Academy, a program of State Street Academy. Our students design, build, and program competition robots while developing skills in engineering, teamwork, leadership, and problem solving.

As part of the FIRST Robotics community, our team works together with mentors, coaches, and community partners to inspire students to explore careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

The Crystal Oscillators proudly represent State Street Academy in competitions across Michigan while promoting creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
