🏀📚 More Great News from the TVC!

We’re excited to share that some of our JG Lady Bobcats have been named to the Tri-Valley Conference Academic All-Conference Team! 🐾👏

This is the first year the TVC has introduced the Academic All-Conference Award (starting Fall 2025), recognizing student-athletes who maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher while competing in their sport.

Balancing practices, games, homework, and everything in between takes dedication, discipline, and heart — and our Lady Bobcats continue to prove they can do it all!

We are incredibly proud of these student-athletes for representing John Glenn with excellence both on the court and in the classroom. Keep shining, ladies!💙

Last night we battled hard but came up short against Frankenmuth, 51–32, bringing our season to an end.

We are incredibly proud of this team and the way they played together through the many challenges thrown their way this season. Resilience. Grit. Perseverance. These girls showed it all.

A special thank you to Coach Clyde for stepping in when we needed you, and to Coach Belil for stepping up to assist.

To our seniors, Helena and Emma — thank you for your dedication, positivity, and commitment you brought to the team every day. We will miss you.🤍

⭐️Shoutout to one of our own for an awesome honor!⭐️

Emerson Jurek was named one of the recipients of the Tri-Valley Sportsmanship Award for the Winter 2026 Girls Basketball season!

The Tri-Valley Sportsmanship Award was created in 2022 as a way to recognize the student-athletes of member schools. Every sports coach nominates one person from their team who exhibits the following examples of sportsmanship:

🔲The student-athlete sets and models the behavior expected of their teammates and opponents.

🔲The student-athlete understands the responsibility and privilege of representing their school and community.

🔲The student-athlete lives up to the standards of sportsmanship established by the school administration and coaching staff.

It’s Game Day for JG Girls Basketball!🏀

Our Bobcats are hitting the road tonight to take on the Eagles of Frankenmuth! 🐾🆚🦅

🕠 Game Time: 5:30 p.m.
📍 Location: Frankenmuth

Our teams went into Grand Blanc and came out with TWO HUGE WINS!

🏀 JV set the tone with a strong 40–28 victory
🏀 Varsity was down 17–25 at half, refused to quit, and pulled off a 49–47 COMEBACK in a nail-biter! 😱

The fight, focus, and TEAMWORK from both squads were unreal tonight — everyone stepping up, every possession, every play.

And now the entire bus is spending the ride home replaying that ending and trying to catch our breath 😅😮‍💨
That road grit was on full display tonight. 😤💪
