does everyone know that next week the Disc Golf Professional World Championships are right here in Michigan ? YES THEY ARE ! Kensignton Metro Park in Milford will be hosting 300 of the worlds best professional disc golfers from 25 countries across 5 continents will be competing for the top title and a share of the $300,000.00 purse. Information about tickets and all of the extracurricular activities available for spectators can be found at detroit26.com.
So if you're not one of the professionals competing or a spectator at Kensington, get out and enjoy a few rounds at Putz Putt and Approach Disc Golf Park. Who knows, just maybe one or more of the professional players may decide to take a road trip to Bay City just to play our only course. Maybe a disc golf celebrity sighting is in your future ? Who would you want to run into here at Putz ?

"What I most hope is that we would be witness to or hear about local youth and residents stopping out here at sunrise to play nine or eighteen holes before school/work while at the same time joining with senior disc golfers that are up at 4:00am planning their day. Public parks without public feet on the ground are nothing more than inefficient energy consuming green spaces. Parks that can serve as multiple use spaces makes great sense. Disc golf at Putz Putt and Approach Disc Golf Park makes great sense. This disc golf nine hole layout was designed so that Bay City youth, senior citizens, nature loving trail walkers, pet walkers, bird watchers, Public School physical educationalists , sandwich lovers, Saginaw River anglers and the hopes that all players and spectators will enjoy Putz Putt and Approach Disc Golf Park while enhancing and cementing generational experiences in Bay City. And looking towards the future, The Stevie Wonder Disc Golf Course for the Blind and Handicapped in Saginaw, Michigan".

Saturday night at The Wanigan Eatery & Pub, I’m debuting something new ... Grab Bag Music Bingo!

Here’s the twist: I don’t decide what music we’re playing… YOU do.

Before each round, we’ll reach into the Grab Bag and randomly pull the category. It could be 80’s, 90’s, Classic Rock, Hair Metal, Party Hits, Yacht Rock, 2000’s… who knows what’s coming out of that bag.

That means every round is a surprise , and no two Grab Bag Music Bingo nights will ever be exactly the same.

And remember, you don’t need to know anything about music to play. If the song playing is on your card, mark it. That’s it!

everybody that always says that Putz Putt and Approach DGP (courses in general) could be much better if redesigned or changed, here is your chance to become involved and finish building the 18 hole disc golf course at The Fraser Township Park. Yes, it requires attending meetings and getting a few blisters

When a young teenage kid playing his first year on the Disc Golf Pro Tour tells you that his goal is the be the best disc golfer in the world, it probably makes sense to listen to todays twenty one year old greatest disc golfer in the world highlighting his view of the top ten courses in the world. This video is a great promotional tool to inform cities, counties, state parks and all of those folks that can make decisions to include disc golf within their long term goals. Hopefully one of the top ten courses in the world is being considered today, could an additional layout at Putz Putt and Approach Disc Golf Park be it ?
