A few pics from my first excursion this summer. Went to the crappie hole, but the crappie hole was dry. They moved on. Rock bass were spawning. A few bluegill had beds too. A few bass were cruising the beds. I will post more about it tomorrow night. It was a great night! So good to get on the water!

1/4 oz long shank walleye bucktail jig. 3 different colors of bucktail and some lateral line scale make one sweet jig!

Quick tip: peg board storage trick. Totally worth the watch! Not the best editing though! 😂

Bucktail walleye jig tied up crappie style. It will make sense at the end. Works good for adding scent! I also explain how I mix different colors of bucktail so they are randomly distributed to kind of match the swirl paint job on the jig head.
