While our Memorial Day weekend may be packed with fishing, family fun, graduations, campfires and summer activities- we are big fans of summer fun - we also think it is important to take a moment to pause your fun to remember the real meaning of Memorial Day. We could express enough gratitude to the men and women who have given their lives for us to enjoy the freedom we have. Let us not forget those who are serving now and those who served through the Covid 19 pandemic.

Testing out a new color combination

It is 20 years later and the attacks on 9/11 had impacts across our great nation and the globe. Todd and I lived on Long Island New York back then, my office was at JFK Airport where we could see the twin towers from the roof of the building.

We were glued to the TV watching and hoping and praying for more survivors …….. even now, 20 years later the words just do not come out easily. We will never forget.

The horror and sadness and loss of thousands of lives, mothers and fathers and young people and first responders and workers and tourists, was followed by an unprecedented outpouring of help and support and patriotism.

We will never forget.
