🇺🇸🎆 YACOLT 4TH OF JULY PARADE 🎆🇺🇸

⭐️ Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday! ⭐️

Rockin’ Youth Rodeo is looking for ALL past contestants, future contestants, princesses, rodeo families, and supporters to join us for one of Southwest Washington’s favorite hometown traditions!

🐴 We will have a float in the parade and we’d love to have horses ride with us too!

📍 Meet Location:
Yacolt Primary School

⏰ Arrival Time:
8:30 AM – 9:15 AM

🇺🇸 Parade Begins:
10:00 AM

We will head over together to stage before the parade begins.

🎉 What to Bring:

😊 Big smiles and waves for the crowd

🐎 Bringing a Horse?
Please let us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly. We ask that anyone bringing horses also bring pooper scoopers to help keep our hometown parade route clean. If bringing a horse is on your bucket list this might be the parade but there will be a helicopter fly over! Plan accordingly for your child's safety and their horses.

Whether you’ve competed before, plan to compete this year, are part of a rodeo family, or just want to help represent Rockin’ Youth Rodeo, we’d love to have you join us.

This parade is always packed with local families, kids, and community members. It’s a great opportunity to have fun, celebrate our country, promote youth rodeo, and show Yacolt what Rockin’ Youth Rodeo is all about!

Northwood has some super exciting news!! We have added Tasha Grinde to our instructor roster! She will be doing lessons and clinics here at Northwood!

Hi there! I’m Tasha,

a lifelong equestrian with a passion for all things equine. While I’ve done a little bit of everything—including Western & English Pleasure, poles, and goat tying—barrel racing and roping are my true love. I grew up in the competitive circuit and still compete today.

I offer laid-back, versatile coaching for all ages and skill levels, with a special soft spot for helping youth riders reach their full potential.

I look forward to meeting you and being a part of your journey!

A great learning Opportunity!!

Reminder All Events at our rodeo count towards the All Around to include calf roping, sled calf roping, and calf dummy tying! JR & SR will have Boys and Girls separated for the All Around but not events and their points. So Boys if ya can weave some poles fairly good it's a shot to earn points and cowgirls if ya can rope a neck well you should learn to calf tie and earn some AA points!
