We had a great time today at Ogden Park Prowl! We were so excited to see everyone and Maggot was especially excited to get a picture with the Mid City Gras squirrel! Thank you all to anyone who came by!

Looking for a good radio show to listen to today during your lunch break? We suggest tuning into WRKF 89.3FM in Baton Rouge at 12:30pm for It's Baton Rouge Out to Lunch! Our head trainer, Original Cyn, is a guest on the show, chatting about our league.
Not in Baton Rouge to listen? That’s okay! The show is already live online, and you can listen to it anytime wherever you get podcasts, or directly on their website. https://pod.fo/e/6cca74 or https://itsbatonrouge.la/2026/10/18/its-a-girls-world/

One last week to have a chance to fill the 12th spot remaining in our tournament after a team had to back out! We would love to have a full 12 teams, as we think it will lead to a better bracket and better tournament this year!

Even if you don’t have a team, there’s still a chance you can play! If you register as an individual skater, we’ll put you together with other individual skaters for a team, so get your friends together and share this!

As always, it’s first come, first serve, so make sure to register now while you can!

An update to our team update for our Seven Deadly Skates Tournament! In the event that a full team does not register to fill the void left in our heart (tournament), we are opening up the possibility for a mashup sevens team! If you wanted to skate on a sevens team, but couldn’t get a full team together, or you want to just throw your hat in the ring (skates on the track?), here’s your chance!

Individual skaters can now register, and should we get enough individual skaters registered for a full team, that will be our 12th team for our tournament! This final team would need to skate under the color blue (royal or navy). There is no guarantee that enough people will register to make a full team. A team may also register before enough individuals register to create this mashup team. Team registration will close upon either enough individuals for a team registering, or a full team registering, whichever comes first!

We’re a few days late, but our September birthday folks are no less wonderful! Happy (belated) birthdays to Fleetwood Smack, Hazenberg, Papaya on Fiyah, and Brass Knuckles!!

10/05/2026

Our game this weekend is unfortunately canceled due to a number of skater cancellations on the “World” team and as such, we can not have a game if there’s no team to go against! Though this is sad, this is not the last game we will hold this year! We still hold our home team games in November and December (with our new home teams!) and our Seven Deadly Skates tournament in November as well, so there will be still be derby from us to the end of the year!

10/04/2026

One 7s Team Spot Open!

Our 7s bracket was set for 12 teams, but unfortunately one team had to back out, and we just don’t think an 11-team bracket is nearly as much fun.

So… who wants to come play?
Royal blue or dark blue jerseys required, Reduced entry fee: $200 (normally $300!)
Help us fill the final spot and get your team into the tournament at a discounted rate!
