The Sturgeons are excited to introduce a talented group of new players joining the roster for the 2026 season.

Pitcher and infielder Logan Sheridan joins us after a standout career at Oceanside High School, where he recorded four home runs and 43 RBIs. On the mound, he earned 15 wins with a 2.05 ERA and 116 strikeouts. Logan continued his career at Husson University, where he maintained a .300 batting average as a reliable two-way threat.

Logan’s performance remained strong during the preseason, highlighted by multiple extra-base hits and the first grand slam in Sturgeons history.

We are excited to announce that Zack Lavoie is slated to join the Kennebec Sturgeons for the 2026 season. A former Brunswick High School Dragon, Zack continued his baseball career at the University of Maine at Farmington under the leadership of Dick Meader.

Zack brings significant versatility to our roster. While you can primarily expect to find him behind the plate, he is also capable of playing third base and appearing on the mound. Offensively, Zack possesses a solid bat and a keen eye, having already drawn several walks during the preseason.

Despite this being his rookie season, Zack is already a league leader in jersey sales; look out for his #12 jersey at the field on game day. You can follow Zack and the rest of the Sturgeons all season long on Facebook.
