There are so many things coaches can teach our players, but even more lessons are taught at home. As we celebrate and spend time with our mothers this weekend, I wanted to share a moment that showed incredible character and sportsmanship from one of our opponents.

Havoc’s catcher stopped during the game to help one of our players tie her shoe. Moments like that are bigger than wins and losses. At the end of the day, helping develop these kids into good people is what it’s all about — and that wouldn’t be possible without the support, guidance, and example set by great parents. Happy Mother’s Day weekend to all the moms who make it happen.
