Y’all asked for it, so I’m going to try to make it happen!
Introducing the Chasing Vegas Series by Clean Break BCA!
The goal is simple: give Clean Break players multiple ways to earn a trip to Las Vegas to compete at the BCAPL World Championships.
Any Vegas trip earned through the series will be sponsored by Clean Break BCA, with the league covering entry fees, hotel, airfare, and per diem.
Our regular registration form has already been updated, so if you — or someone you know — may be interested, scan any of our QR codes or use the registration link and let me know.
The Chasing Vegas Series will have three routes to Vegas:
8-Ball Singles
$20 quarterly Fairmatch qualifier tournaments. You must be a current Clean Break BCA player to enter. The top finishers from each qualifier — number TBD based on turnout — will advance to the Chasing Vegas Invitational. You can enter as many qualifiers as you want until you qualify.
3-Man 9-Ball Teams
Three-player teams with a 1,500 team Fargo cap and a limited handicap. Play once a month at $15 per player, divided into three 4-match sessions. Each session winner qualifies for the year-end playoff. If a team has already qualified, 2nd place gets the spot. With enough participation, teams that win more than one session can also earn cash prizes. The 4th playoff spot will come from a wildcard drawing, with 1 ticket earned for every 10 points accumulated throughout the year.
8-Ball Teams
A weekly 8-ball league with a 2,500 team Fargo cap, round-robin format, standard handicap, and $10 per player per match. There will be three sessions during the year. Each session winner qualifies for the year-end Vegas playoff, plus one wildcard team using the same system — 1 ticket for every 10 points earned throughout the year. With enough participation, we’ll add cash prizes here too.
As always, more participation = more back to the players — whether that means additional Vegas spots, bigger cash prizes, or both.
