This past Saturday 16 players showed up to do battle and honor our fallen soldiers. We'd like to thank everyone who came out. We had a great group of people and fun was had by everyone.

Followed with a little non-pool related midday excitement (IYKYK).
If you believed the player auction the 500s+ were expected to be the favorites however when the dust all settled some unlikely victors actually arose.

Joel Kemmerer was unstoppable after a hill-hill win against Matt Drake first round. Easily advancing through the winner's bracket and waiting to see who emerged out of the one loss side. Seth Reyes seemed to be the tournaments only hope for an answer to Joel's "A" game after playing a brilliant safety game against Jason Blanchard on the one loss side to advance for a little tournament rematch. Seth then got a chance at a little tournament revenge against the player who sent him to the one loss side Freya Hassenmayer. This time around the outcome was a completely different story with Seth shutting Freya out and advancing to the finals! In the end Joel Kemmerer was just too much for anyone to take down easily beating Seth in the first set of the double dip.
