This past week, JWCC held its 2nd Annual IL-MO Senior All Star game. Emma Dixon and Brynlee McQuay were elected to play in the game by the Illinois coach. Unfortunately, Brynlee was unable to attend. Missouri took first game, but Illinois took second game. Way to go girls!

Congratulations to Brynlee McQuay and Sophie Rennecker for being named to the Muddy River Sports All-Area Team this season.

The Illinois softball season produced win streaks, dominant pitching performances and sluggers who continually crushed the ball. It showcased a depth of talent that will make this area competitive for years to come.

Congrats Coach!

In her second season at the helm, Western softball coach Rachel Motley led the Wildcats to the first regional championship in program history with a 1-0 victory over Pawnee in the Class 1A Barry Regional title tilt. Motley is the 2026 Muddy River Sports Softball Coach of the Year.
