🚨 DREAM PORTAL REOPENING – JULY 7TH SESSIONS 🚨

As we continue the work of the Dream Portal Training Program this week, we are officially reopening the Portal for our next training cycle beginning July 7th!

If you're looking for serious skill development, confidence building, basketball IQ growth, and an environment focused on helping athletes reach their full potential, the Dream Portal is one of the best training opportunities available in Vermont.

Our current June athletes are beginning their second week of training today and are doing an outstanding job. The growth, effort, and commitment we've seen so far have been tremendous, and we're excited to continue helping these athletes develop throughout the remainder of the session.

🖊️ WELCOME TO THE PACK, NIGEL WILCOX! 🐺🏀

The Vermont Coyotes are proud to announce the signing of 6’7” forward Nigel Wilcox from Valdosta, Georgia.

Nigel brings professional experience from both Peru and Argentina, where he established himself as a versatile forward capable of impacting the game on both ends of the floor. Standing 6’7” and weighing 195 pounds, his length, athleticism, and international experience make him an exciting addition to our roster as we continue building toward an even stronger second season.

Throughout his professional journey, Nigel has demonstrated the work ethic, character, and competitive spirit that align with the culture we’re building here in Vermont. His ability to run the floor, defend multiple positions, and contribute offensively gives our coaching staff another valuable piece as we prepare for the upcoming ABA season.

OFFICIALLY SIGNED ✍️🐺

Today, at our Hartford Skills Clinic, we were proud to officially welcome Jedidiah Merrill to the Vermont Coyotes family.

Standing 6’4” and hailing from Windham, Maine, Jedidiah brings much more than talent to our organization. From the moment we met him, it was clear that he represents the kind of character, professionalism, and leadership we want wearing a Vermont Coyotes uniform.

What impressed us most wasn’t just his ability on the basketball court, it was the way he carries himself, the respect he shows others, and the example he sets for the next generation of athletes. Having the opportunity to sign him in front of the young athletes attending our clinic made the moment even more special, as those players were able to witness firsthand what hard work, dedication, and commitment can lead to.

We are beyond proud to officially call Jedidiah Merrill a Vermont Coyote and cannot wait for our fans and community to get to know the person behind the player.

The Vermont Coyotes will be making a BIG roster signing live at our Skills Clinic at Hartford High School!

Welcome to the VT Coyotes Family, Eireann Kolden!

We are excited to officially welcome Eireann Kolden as the newest member of the Vermont Coyotes staff, serving as our Strength & Conditioning Coach.

Originally from New Hampshire, Eireann earned a Master of Science in Chemistry from Ohio University and currently works as a career scientist. Along with being a Certified Personal Trainer, Eireann brings a unique blend of scientific knowledge, athletic development, and performance-focused training to our organization.

Eireann will assist in player development through:

* Movement Screening
* Performance Assessment
* Strength & Conditioning Programming
* Athlete Development & Injury Prevention

In addition, Eireann is actively studying for the NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification, widely regarded as the gold standard in strength and conditioning coaching.

As we continue building a professional organization focused on developing athletes both on and off the court, we’re thrilled to have Eireann join our staff and help our players reach new levels of performance.

VT Coyotes SEASON PASSES come out JULY 15TH! Our schedules will be all over Vermont as well and you will be able to find QR Codes that link to everything Coyotes this year!

We care deeply about creating a fun and entertaining environment for our fans and the teams we are bringing in will certainly make for great basketball to be watched in our 2nd season in the American Basketball Association!

All we can say is WOW! Yesterday's Dream Portal Training was amazing! The athletes came to work and they got introduced to how work is going to look all summer & fall! We are very proud of these athletes because the work promised is not easy but it is affective and will stay that way! Our youngest age group is 3-5th & our oldest age group is 9th - 12th with a group in between! Yesterday proved that dreams all start with the work, in fact the dream is the work! Great job to all who are members of the training program!

The VT Coyotes are proud to have started this here in Central Vermont and the rate that it's growing at is something to be proud of! We had athletes last night from 2 hours away who came and got work in! Special thank you to the parents!

We couldn’t be more proud and grateful to have Davis Legal Solutions PLLC returning as a partner of the VT Coyotes for Year 2!

Their support is already making a difference by helping local families who otherwise would not be able to participate in our One Dream Elite Skills Training Dream Portal, which officially kicks off today.

From day one, the vision of the Vermont Coyotes has been about more than basketball. It has been about creating opportunities, changing lives, and inspiring the next generation. Building something meaningful in Central Vermont has come with its challenges, but our mission has never changed.

What has been incredible to see is that the impact of what we’re building is reaching far beyond Central Vermont. The Dream Portal is proof of that. Tomorrow marks the beginning of the first-ever One Dream Elite Dream Portal training sessions at the Montpelier Recreation Department!

This isn’t just another basketball workout. This is an opportunity for athletes to be challenged, developed, and exposed to training methods designed to improve decision-making, footwork, skill development, basketball IQ, and confidence.
