Help us prepare for Second Summer Cycle 2027! We know everyone is bummed that we had to cancel this year's ride because of the weather, but we are already thinking about 2027 and would love input from everyone involved this year. Please take a moment (like 2 min!) to complete the form linked in the comments to help us plan our next great ride.

What a fantastic evening we had celebrating Second Summer Cycle on Monday. We're proud to say we have raised $1.1 million over the last 4 years of this event, with those funds distributed directly to the nonprofits involved. We would be remiss not to mention that this is possible in part because of the sponsors who support us, which covers all the overhead and logistical fees required to run an event of this scale. So take a moment to visit our website. The next time you are looking to frequent a business in those industries, choose our sponsors. Tell them we sent you. Support those who support Cape Cod. And join us in our mission by making plans to Ride The Cape For The Cape with us in 2027! We'll see you on the roads. 🚴‍♀️🚴

We look forward to seeing many of you in a few hours. As a reminder, all beneficiaries are still accepting donations through October 15th. You can find their unique links on our website at www.secondsummercycle.com. We're proud to say we've raised over $1M for Cape Codders in four years, and we thank everyone who has contributed in that time. 🧡💙

Riders from Building a Bigger Table donned their jerseys for a group ride. There's still time to donate to them or any of our beneficiaries. Visit www.secondsummercycle.com to find their donation pages.

While the weather may have thwarted us last weekend, you cannot hold down this Cape community! Many of our beneficiaries are out today getting their miles in and showing off their amazing jerseys. The great thing about this event is that rider generated donations are distributed as they are raised, so our Cape nonprofits can continuously provide important services to our community members. So, while we didn’t ride together last weekend, your donations continue to make their impact. You have until October 15th to donate to our 2026 beneficiaries. Keep the momentum going! Together we will continue to Ride the Cape, for the Cape!

While we are saddened that our event will not take place tomorrow, we know that the spirit behind our movement to Ride the Cape for the Cape remains as important as ever. Stay tuned for further details.
