Join Team Heroes in Transition for Second Summer Cycle 2026!

Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or just looking for an excuse to spend a day riding on Cape Cod, the 2026 Second Summer Cycle has a route for you.

Choose from 15, 34, 60, or 101 miles and enjoy a scenic ride through some of the Cape's most beautiful towns, all while supporting veterans, service members, and military families.

The ride begins and ends at Smugglers Beach in South Yarmouth, where riders can celebrate with food trucks, local beer, live music, and a great community atmosphere.

Every mile ridden helps support Heroes in Transition programs that strengthen relationships, build community, and provide a pathway to healing for those who have served.

Ride with us through some of Cape Cod’s most scenic roads while supporting opportunities for individuals with disabilities across our community. With routes for all experience levels, Second Summer Cycle is the perfect way to challenge yourself, enjoy the beauty of Cape Cod, and make an impact along the way. 💙

The day begins and ends at beautiful Smugglers Beach in South Yarmouth, followed by a Finish Line Celebration featuring local beer, food trucks, and live music from 12PM–4PM.

Memorial Day Weekend kicks off summer on Cape Cod! Today looks like the best day to be on your bike, but with the influx of traffic and drivers who may be unfamiliar with our roads, we want to remind you to be extra aware of your surroundings while riding. This is a great time to explore some of the MANY bike paths we have across Cape Cod. We've highlighted several of them here. Google the names for more details. Have fun and be safe out there!
