Cabell County Schools made a big decision tonight in voting “YES” in sanctioning Middle School Baseball.

That’s the easy part … now is an opportunity for the community to come together to help support the future. Year 1 is the toughest & most important year to a program. This is about laying the foundation for generations to come!

To the Knights Baseball Club family, thank you for your support and helping make this a possibility. Thanks to Cabell Midland Athletics, CMHS Knights Baseball, Barboursville Little League, former players, coaches, & parents. The future is bright!

Now we step aside while officially introducing the Barboursville Middle School & Milton Middle School baseball programs!

Yesterday, our baseball community suffered an unimaginable loss. Gunner Howa… Weston Gordon needs your support for Support for the Howard Family After Tragedy

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Gunner’s loved ones and the entire baseball family. 🙏

It is with profound sadness and very heavy hearts that we share the tragic loss of one of our baseball family members, Gunner Howard, his mother, Hannah and his sister, Peyton.

Gunner brought joy, energy and a love for the game that touched teammates, coaches and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. While his time with us was far too short, the impact the Howards made on our baseball family will never be forgotten.

During this incredibly difficult time, we ask our community to keep their family, friends, teammates and all those affected in your thoughts and prayers.

As a baseball family, we will stand together, support one another, and honor the memory of a young player who will forever be a part of our team.

Special thanks to Them Roten Boys Lawn Care for helping our club upkeep the field during the offseason — they’ve always been so reliable and willing to help whenever asked! This group has mowed, announced, attended more games than we can count! Highly recommend!

WOW! What a season! This young Knights Baseball Club really stepped up to the challenge this year, concluding the season with an impressive 13-3 record!

To our three 8th graders, congratulations on a great tenure in our program and good luck on your next journey to CMHS Knights Baseball!

To our underclassmen, today starts preparation for next season … the future is bright!

To our coaches, thanks for your endless dedication to leading these players on and off the field.

To the parents, thank you for your complete and total buy in this season!
