Bangor YMCA Barracuda Swim Team Welcome to the official page of the Bangor YMCA Barracuda Swim Team - where swimmers and families keep up-to-date with all things BYB!

The Bangor Region YMCA swim team is located in Bangor, Maine. We are a team of approximately 120 swimmers ranging in age from 6-18. We compete in both Y and USA swimming competition and are members of the Maine YMCA Swim League and Maine Swimming, inc.

CONGRATULATIONS to our Barracuda Swim Team for taking 5TH PLACE OVERALL at the YMCA State Meet this past weekend!🎉 We had 91 swimmers participate in the meet, the 2nd largest team there! Our 8 & Under Girls were the Champions for their age group, our 15 & Older Boys placed 4th in their age group, and our Girls placed 4th Overall!

A HUGE THANK YOU to our incredible Coaches for their hard work and dedication to our swimmers, and so many of our BYB Parents & Volunteers for volunteering their time to this team and helping to make sure all our Home Meets run smoothly.
