🌼 I created JoyCode because I needed it. ✨

I used to think I was happy… I was the helper, the fixer, the one who showed up no matter what.
At work, I poured every ounce of myself into being there for my patients. I believed that if I wasn’t at their side every moment, I had failed them—and their loved ones.
I carried their pain in my body. I felt responsible for healing it all.

But here’s the truth I had to learn the hard way:
Their path is not mine to carry.
Their healing is not mine to control.
And joy—true, soul-anchored joy—can’t exist when you're living in quiet survival mode, even when it looks like you’re thriving on the outside.

Fear was driving my life.
Fear of letting people down.
Fear of not being enough.
Fear of what would happen if I chose myself.

What I didn’t realize is that fear sneakily weaves itself into our beliefs—into how we love, care, show up, and abandon ourselves in the name of being “good.”

Fear shows up in our body as dis-ease- discomfort, pain, inflammation, ulcers, migraines, GI symptoms, sleep troubles, raynauds, ect and... cancer. I can say this because Ive had all of this and work with people who have too and have taken back their health.

WOOOO HOOOO — it’s HAPPENING!! ✨🔥

Maria and I are absolutely lit up to invite you to the Embodied Medicine Retreat — a full-body, soul-awakening experience that’s been Divinely timed and deeply guided every step of the way.
Our first retreat was set for April 2024… but life had bigger plans.
We both went through massive personal shifts — from releasing relationships that no longer aligned, to stepping into entirely new timelines. It was raw. It was real. And it cracked us open in the best way.

In March 2025, we met in person and did deep healing work on the retreat land. We cleared dense energy that had been lingering, anchoring in light codes and calling in something bigger than us. And just as we completed the work, Spirit sent confirmation — a bald eagle soared above us, delivering a message of power, clarity, and divine alignment.

What fuels you?

It's challenging knowing what's best for you vs what's familiar.

This year is going to stretch me and that's okay. Everyday I anchor into what feels good in my body and what feels iffy. I let the feel good hold the iffy.

The fuel comes from connection. Connection to self, to the elements, to others I trust and to source.

I vow to let what fuels my soul for my highest to streamline through me as I move with ease through challenges.

I give thanks. I am love and I am power. I am badass and I let in only that which elevates that.

One Year Ago Today Memory ♡
This was the last time Lily and I watched the sunset on our favorite little beach in the Cape — a quiet spot we visited often. This photo takes me back to a moment of stillness, a rare calm in the midst of a storm I hadn’t fully acknowledged yet. That beach felt like a friend, a place that held me when I was overwhelmed. That day it knew I had been holding something heavy so it united with the sun to greet me.

Around this time last year, I already knew the truth. I felt it in my body long before I could form the words— I was just waiting for it to hit. I felt miles away from the person I had felt closest to for 6.5 years. Looking back, I realize I had been grieving the relationship long before it actually ended, without even knowing it.

It’s strange how we hold on so tightly, trying to control what’s slipping through our fingers. But eventually, we learn: our self-love has to be louder than the parts of us that tolerate pain. Letting go can be the most loving thing we do for ourselves and those we love.

So I share with you the beaches message for me that day: "Feel the feels as the water speaks, find your center so you can rise again, un-sheiled the parts that need nurturing and let the horizon sing. You will and always do glow from within. Breathe in life and release pride and shame. Love is not holding on, it's letting go. It is honest, pure and kind. The whispers of our time will not be forgotten for this space lives within. Hold strong to the elements for we will guide you. You will feel free. It is scary and you will feel free."
