Some photos from this weekends D1 Fastpitch Outlaws Summer Invutational in Elyria.

These ladies went 3-3 on the weekend playing against some of the top teams in our region. These teams we played were from Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Indiana and New York.

Overall this weekend was very successful and our ladies proved they can beat any team we step into the field against when we come to play the game the right way.

Wishing all of our amazing dads a very Happy Father's Day!

Thank you for your endless support, countless hours at the ballpark, and everything you do to make our crazy softball family work. From those early 8:00 AM pool and bracket play games to the long weekends spent on the road, your dedication and sacrifice help make it all possible and allow our girls to chase their dreams.

We appreciate everything you do and hope you enjoy a well-deserved day celebrating with your families. Happy Father's Day!

Our ladies were down in Columbus this past weekend competing at the Laser Nation Showcase at Berliner Park.

💣 Offensive Leaders 💣
🔥 Paisley went 4-for-7 (.571) with 3 doubles, her 2nd home run of the summer, and 2 RBI.
🔥 Jordy went 5-for-11 (.455) with 3 doubles and a team-leading 6 RBI.
🔥 Piper went 4-for-11 (.364) with 4 singles and scored 3 runs.
🔥 Olivia went 3-for-9 (.333) with 2 doubles and 2 RBI.

🔥 Strong Work in the Circle 🔥
🥎 Paisley led the way with 10 innings pitched, allowing just 2 earned runs (1.40 ERA), issuing ZERO walks, striking out 11, and holding opponents to a .211 batting average.
🥎 Jordy threw 9 innings, recorded 11 strikeouts, and held opponents to a .227 batting average.
🥎 Avery added 3 innings of work with 3 strikeouts and a .286 batting average against.

💪🏼 Defense was good all weekend too 💪🏼
👏 Lauren caught all 22 innings this weekend and threw out 2 runners attempting to steal second base.
👏 Lexi, Alyssa, Madyson, and Avery were outstanding up the middle all weekend long.
👏 Liv, Jordy, Aubrey, Avery, and Madyson played exceptional defense on the corners.
👏 Piper, Sienna, Aubrey, and Dylan were fantastic in the outfield, making plays all weekend long.

We also got to celebrate two special birthdays this weekend!
🎈 Aubrey turned 15 on June 12.
🎈 Jordy turned 15 on June 14.

Another tournament and another bomb 💣 💣 for Paisley!! This girl has been straight fire at the plate in our first 2 tournaments.

10/16 (.625) with 4 singles, 4 doubles, 2 HR’s and 5 RBI and only 1 K.

Keep swinging it Paisley!! 💪🏼🥎🔥

And in the circle she’s thrown 18 innings and has only allowed 5 earned runs with 14K’s.

Great way to kick off our summer schedule this weekend at The Nation’s Elite 48 Tournament! These ladies went 3-1-1, competing against some of the top 14U teams in the region and showing exactly what they're capable of.

🔥 Offensively, we started to show just how dangerous this lineup can be:

• Paisley hit .667 with 6 hits, including a 💣 and 3 RBI.
• Sienna hit .600 with 4 doubles and 6 RBI.
• Piper hit .500 with 4 hits, scored 4 runs, and drew 3 walks.

🥎 Our pitching staff was 🔥all weekend:

• Jordy led the way with 10 innings pitched, allowing just 1 earned run while striking out 10 and holding opponents to a .179 batting average. 🔥
• Paisley threw 8 innings, allowing only 3 earned runs and holding hitters to a .250 average.
• Avery tossed 4 innings without allowing an earned run and limited opponents to a .176 batting average.

Defensively, our girls made plays all over the field:

• Madyson showed off her athleticism with great plays at third base and in left field.
• Liv came up big all weekend, making key plays at both first and third base.
• Alyssa made difficult plays at shortstop look routine time and time again.
• Sienna covered a ton of ground in center field, saving extra-base hits and throwing out another runner at home trying to score from second on a single.
• Aubrey was rock solid at first base and made a tremendous catch on a sinking line drive while playing right field.
• Lex displayed her versatility by making plays at third, shortstop, second base, and left field.
• Dylan made her return to the field and immediately reminded everyone of the athleticism and speed she brings to our team. Glad to have you back, Dylan!

👏 Special shoutout to Lauren, who caught all 22 innings this weekend and threw out one (really two 😉) runners attempting to steal second.

And just like that, We Are Back!!

Boy, did I miss seeing these girls competing on the softball field. It is obvious that this is a special group with a special bond that also has some really talented softball players.

Day 1 at The Nation’s Elite 48 these ladies went 1-0-1. We tied a really good Outlaws team, 5-5 and we beat a very talented NY Fury team 5-0.

We need to clean up a few things defensively and execute a little bit better offensively but we walk away from day one feeling pretty good about where we’re starting this summer.
