Very important for 8th graders interested in playing volleyball in high school

Any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade students interested in trying out for sports next school year, APHS is hosting their annual EKG/Physical night on May 12th from 4 to 7. All physicals and EKG's are free and must be completed on the new form which you can pick up from the front office prior to the event. Stay tuned for registration information or just stop by the high school on May 12th between 4PM and 7PM.

Tryouts will be held at APMS gym on 12/15/25 directly after school until 5:30pm. If your player makes the first cut they will return 12/16/25 for the final day of tryouts.

‼️Athletic Clearance
Since Wednesday's meeting I have received a few questions about the Athletic Clearance paperwork.
> Deadline is December 12th - NO exceptions for late entry's!
> Yes, you must be completely cleared to attend any Open Gym

It is your student's responsibility to go to the front office, preferably during an elective class, to obtain our sports packet from Mrs. Lewis. Once your student has brought home our sports packet, in the back of the packet it will have a list of everything you will need to upload to athleticclearance.com (pictured below). Please upload each document in its designated spot. If you have any questions or concerns you will have to contact our Athletic Director Mrs. Landress.
Please we ask that you do not wait until December 12th to upload everything at once as it is a process to view each item and clear a student.
