Jude landed his first trip to Tech at a regional event! Getting to park it in the tech tent and do a carb/slide/fuel inspection. It's ALWAYS good to be in the Tech tent!

A bit of a late update, but we did some damage at Quaker City during the Apex Karting Championships race! Unfortunately, it was mainly to our egos. 😄

Our drivers did great, but chassis and engine issues, as well as a couple on-track altercations had our finishes mediocre across the board.

The theme of the weekend though, was "Don't let the bad days win" and we didn't. Remy and Jude drove their pants off regardless of what we sent them out with, and Remy locked down 3rd place for the Apex Championship!

All in all, our 'bad' weekend was pretty damn good. 🏁

The Apex Karting Championships is coming to our backyard this weekend for the final round of their Midwest series! The BOSS Pro-Karting team will head to Quaker City Karting for some great racing and a fun weekend.

Currently Remy is holding 2nd in points in the 206 Micro class and only 5 points out of 2nd in IAME Micro, so we're going to be fighting tooth and nail!

Jude is looking to gain some points as well. As his first season in Cadet we weren't expecting to be real competitive yet, but he's currently holding 8th in points! With several races under his belt at Quaker, Jude is ready to fight for that 7th spot.

Here's the wild last 3 laps of the 206 final last Saturday at Quaker City. Remy went home with the win, but we crossed the line 2nd (the leader received a 3s penalty for multi-lane change/blocking). Regardless, it's awesome to see the top handful of karts in this Cadet class put on races this hard and this clean week after week.

Remy got the win and some more great racing with his buddy Logan Pollack in kart 113, and Jude continued getting faster and faster bringing home an 11th place out of 18 karts (and his fastest laps so far)

Sunday we had another great battle ending the day 3rd for Remy, but Jude got caught up in a turn 6 crash leading to a DNF.

We also won every time out in the mini swift all weekend! We may have been the only ones there, but we've beaten ourselves before so it's never a guarantee! 😄Wow. Another win - 3 wide at the finish. We can't wait to share the video!

The BOSS Pro-Karting team is heading to Quaker City Motorsports Park for a double-header this weekend. We've got our sights set high coming off of back-to-back wins for Remy and Jude steadily climbing his way through the ranks.

We love racing a Quaker. It's a fun track and we've consistently had over 20 karts in our class with some VERY tough competition throughout the field. Here's to another fun race weekend!

After a transponder failure during qualifying at Quaker City Sunday, Remy had to start at the tail of the field for the pre-final.

Usually we don't post full race videos, but I had to make an exception this time. The kid drove his butt off to get up to 4th place by the end! Earning that 2nd row starting spot kept him in contention to race with the front pack and go on to SQUEAK out the win in the final as well.

Well, Sunday was even more exciting than Saturday. Win #2 for the weekend, with another podium in Swift and Jude wrangling a 12th out of a 22 kart field!

Well, Remy parked BOSS Pro-Karting on the podium again in round 2 of the Apex Karting Championships! With a 3rd in Micro Swift and a 4th in Briggs Micro it wasn't quite as good as round 1, but solid nonetheless and the whole team learned a bit about setting up these cadet karts on a hot, sticky track. Remy drove his butt off with a kart that lacked the speed to get him all the way up front.

The other story of the weekend though was Jude! Considering he is very much still in a 'learning year' joining the micro ranks, he had a couple MONSTER heat races, pacing the mid pack AND finishing at the front of it. He landed a 6th in the pre-final putting him RIGHT BEHIND Remy for the start in Briggs Micro.

We did have a couple of spins while getting up to speed though, and unfortunately one was in the closing laps of the final when he dipped a wheel off track and it ended his race. Jude is gaining steam fast though.

Remy is excited to have a "drafting partner" as Jude gets faster, meanwhile Jude was throwing blocks in lap 2 of a heat race to take his chance to keep Remy behind him. 😄

HUGE Thank you to "Grandi and Pops" for all the help this weekend, and ON THEIR 50th WEDDING ANNIVERSARY! 🎉 We could not have done it without them, and although many of their anniversaries have been spent at racetracks, we still feel pretty grateful to have them thrashing on karts with us just like 30 years ago.
