Adaptive Life Fitness is designed to fit the needs of ANYONE who would thrive in a modified, guided exercise experience. I spent my early career years as a Behavior Therapist for special needs, particularly autism. When I became well versed in the science and benefits of exercise and fitness, I wanted to make that available to the special needs population for which I have such a love and understan

ding. I created AL Fitness to introduce exercise to fit the individual needs of each of my clients, no matter the modification each may need. This may range from something as simple as keeping the music quiet or non-existent, to visually modeling the movements and fading the models out over time for comprehensive independence, to utilizing my knowledge and training from my career to appropriately handle and deescalate aversive behavior. I believe this Adaptive Fitness model, conceived from the joining of my two great passions, gives everyone access to functional exercise and the chance to make it part of a permanent healthy lifestyle.
