Carl Soltisz is a MotoAmerica/AMA professional road racer and multi-time ASRA/CCS national champion from Springfield Township, MI. Unlike many pro-road racers who started racing at a very young age, Carl didn’t have the opportunity to start racing until the age of 19. Protective parents meant motorcycle racing was off-limits to him while growing up. However, as soon as he was old enough to set off
on his own, he bought an old race bike and dove headfirst into the sport. He soon made a name for himself at local club racing events, advancing quickly through the ranks to earn his Pro license in 2014. Affectionately nicknamed Super Carl due to his on-track exploits, he has gone on to win numerous national and regional road racing championships, continuing to get faster year after year. When Carl isn’t busy chasing his own racing dreams, he offers private coaching opportunities for anyone looking to improve their skills on a motorcycle. He is passionate about growing the sport and getting the next generation of motorcycle racers up to speed. Carl is also an accomplished Supermoto racer and regularly trains on dirt bikes, ice bikes, and mountain bikes as often as he can. While honing his race craft over the years, Carl earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and two master’s degrees in engineering/business administration. This education continues to serve him well, both in his racing career and as a test engineering leader at Stellantis.
